note（no） 天天要聞

1、no, not 這兩個詞都表示“否定”，但含義和使用場合不同。

2、 no可作yes的相對語，給問句以否定回答。

3、如： —Are you from the States? 你是美國人嗎？ —No, I’m from Canada. 不，我是加拿大人。

4、 no 還可以表示not any/not a的意思，因此凡是和any或a 搭配的名詞、動名詞、形容詞或副詞，都可與no 搭配使用。

5、如： There were no (=not any) letters for you this morning. 今天上午沒你的信。

6、 It’s no difficult. =It’s not any difficult. 一點(diǎn)也不難。

7、 no本身是個限定詞，不可與另一個限定詞，如a, any, that, the, all, both, ever, hi等連用，因此在出現(xiàn)上述限定詞時，必須用not。

8、如： Not all of us saw it happen. 我們不是所有的人都看到這件事的發(fā)生。

9、 在否定動詞、副詞、介詞短語時，用not不用no。

10、如： I haven’t seen him quite recently. 最近我沒有見過他。

11、 I can make it Friday, but not Thursday. 定在星期五可以，但星期四不行。

12、 由上可知，no和not any/not a都可放在名詞前，但前者用于書面語較多，后者用于口語較多，而且前者沒有后者的語氣強(qiáng)。

13、如： I have no money left. 我沒有余錢了。

14、 I haven’t any money left. 我沒有余錢了。

15、 在動詞為be的句子中，not (a) 卻不如no。

16、前者只表示“不是”這一事實(shí)，得帶有一定的感情色彩。

17、如： I am no teacher. 我沒有當(dāng)老師的能力。

18、 I am not a teacher. 我不是老師。

19、 He is not good at tennis. 他不擅長于網(wǎng)球。

20、 He is no good at tennis. 他網(wǎng)球打得很不好。
